Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Lucy Jenkin. Lucy works alongside staff, families, and outside agencies to ensure children with additional needs get the right support at the right time.

We believe in promoting positive behaviour through understanding, patience and consistency. Our Behaviour Management Co-ordinator is also Sarah Morrish, who helps both staff and families respond to any challenging behaviours with care and compassion.

The safety and well-being of our children is always our top priority. Our Designated Safeguarding Lead is Lucy Jenkin, who ensures our safeguarding policies are followed at all times.

- Liaising with external professionals where needed
- Supporting staff to identify and respond to children’s needs
- Staying up to date with the latest policies and best practice

- Working with parents/carers who may be facing challenges at home or in the setting
- Liaising with relevant outside agencies when appropriate
- Attending training to keep up to date with the latest guidance
Safeguarding Children

- Keeping up to date with safeguarding policies and training
- Responding promptly to concerns and working with outside agencies where needed
- Speaking with parents and carers about any safeguarding matters
- Ensuring all staff are informed and confident in their safeguarding responsibilities
